The range will be closed each Monday from morning until 2:00 PM for mowing.
Welcome to the Chippewa Rifle Club. The club was started as a center fire benchrest club and was never intended to be anything else. The club was incorporated as a rifle club and the Articles of Incorporation, the Bylaws, and the township zoning prohibit anything other than rifles. Rifled shotguns are still shotguns and are prohibited from being on the property as well as pistols. In addition to our 2 classes of benchrest matches, we also have Groundhog matches at 2 different yardages for people who do not want to compete in benchrest.
Non members are allowed to participate in the club matches but they will not be competing for the yearly club trophies as these are awarded only to club members who qualify for them. Grandchildren or anyone 18 and under can shoot in the club matches for free. We do this to promote the sport of shooting.
The cost for all club matches for members is $5.00, non-members pay $10.00. We supply the correct target for the match and measure or score the targets for the matches. All the shooter needs to do is show up with his equipment and ammunition.
We don’t require members to sign up for workdays. However, we do encourage you to volunteer to help with the range clean-up days and with the Registered Matches each year.
